Tucker's handy work

With the help of his dad and brother, Tucker has been spending all of his spare time building our closets. I'm pretty proud of them! Unfortunately, they are the prettiest part of the whole house! And these pics are ALL my closet!



And then here are the kitchen cabinets, in serious need of a coat of white paint!

Evening of Authors

Cayden did such a great job reading his own written story about penguins. I asked him if he was nervous. He said "Mom, I've done it like a hundred times!" I didn't realize they had gone around the school to read to each grade. It was fun to have my Mom and Norm there too. A few weeks before the evening of authors, Cayden had to interview one of his Grandpas for a special book they were making, and he chose Norm. So it was fun for him to show grandpa his special book! I LOVE Cayden's teacher! She does so many great things like this on her own, not part of the school cirriculum. We're really sad to be leaving her. I was hoping that Riv would get her next year. Maybe by the time Kaleigh is ready, we'll be moving back!

Trip to SUNNY California

We started the vaca with an easter egg hunt at Aunt Shanda's. Very FUN! THEIR easter bunny has different traditions, so we got to find all kinds of treasures! OUR easter bunny is not so neat, thus the comment (always) "we love this place!!"





A trip to the beach is always in order! That day was a little cold for me, but the kids were in heaven and again, "never want to leave!!"





Disney was a BLAST! I love that place. You just can't be in a bad mood there, not even during spring break when the entire world is also there. AND... I got to se my best friend and her baby, who we met for the first time and ALL loved, especially Kaleigh!
It really is the happiest place on earth! And I loved hearing, for the cajillionth time "this is AWESOME!!"





Did I mention I love california?? It's not so much California as just the fresh air, the smell of the ocean, the warm weather and sunshine, the smell of the flowers, the non-snow... you just feel good there! Next time I go, I'm NOT coming back!
Thanks Shanda for the "best vacation ever!!!!!" Love you! Miss you already!
